Welcome to the Peace Onley Foundation website, dedicated to fostering peace and preventing gun violence, particularly among youth. Founded in memory of Michael and Anthony Onley, two individuals whose lives were tragically cut short by gun violence, our foundation is committed to creating a safer future for generations
Micheal Onley, known by his fans as DJ MO. In addition to being a positive, progressive and peaceful influence in Wilkes-Barre’s music and social scenes, Mike was a principled, protective and passionate father, son and big brother. If you knew Mike, you trusted him. You trusted him to always tell you the truth and direct you to what was best. You trusted him to never harm you and be the voice of peace and reasoning. You trusted him to love you the way you needed to be loved. Mike was unique with care and help, but he was always there when you needed him for anything and he will always be remembered.
Anthony Onley, also known as “Ant” was a dedicated father, cherished son and beloved brother. “Ant” had an infectious laugh that rivaled his energetic and optimistic personality. If you knew “Ant”, you loved him. He would make you laugh and be sure you felt appreciated whenever you left him. He had a way of making you feel like you were the most important person at the moment. His love was visualized with his daughters. They were the most important people to him and he showed it everyday as he loved them the best way he knew how. “Ant” loved you the way you wanted to be loved and always pushed you to be your best self. He was a blessing to have known, loved, and be related to and he will always be remembered.
